Your Team Responsibilities

The team is responsible for supporting MSCI’s new AI Data Management Platform, enabling high-quality data ingestion, document processing, IBOR data workflows, and the delivery of AI-enhanced data outputs to internal and external stakeholders. The team partners closely with Technology, Data Operations, Product, and Client Service to ensure that AI-driven processes are accurate, scalable, and aligned with business needs. We oversee data governance, exception handling, and the operationalization of AI models used across MSCI’s analytics and client platforms.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of the AI Data Management Platform, including document management, IBOR workflows, and data delivery.

  • Configure and maintain client setups and GP access, ensuring accurate and timely data availability.

  • Monitor AI-driven data extraction, enrichment, and classification processes; validate outputs and manage exceptions.

  • Assist in training, tuning, and supervising AI models, ensuring they meet quality, transparency, and governance requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve data pipelines, and enhance platform performance.

  • Ensure compliance with data standards, auditability, and operational controls as AI processes evolve.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (data science, computer science, finance, engineering, or similar).

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data operations, data management, document processing, or a related financial services role.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, including model outputs, data validation, and supervised training processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage exceptions and make judgment-based decisions that AI cannot automate.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support client-related configuration, troubleshooting, and data delivery.

  • Knowledge of IBOR, reference data, or other investment operations datasets is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, especially when overseeing AI-assisted processes and ensuring data accuracy.
